Media Responsibility and Narratives:

Over the past two years, particularly during the pandemic, media outlets have played a pivotal role in shaping public perceptions, especially in the context of COVID-19 vaccinations. I wish to highlight a lawsuit initiated by Healing the Divide against Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) for what we deemed to be the dissemination of propaganda targeting those who were unvaccinated. Salma Kalik, an executive at SPH, admitted in her affidavit that certain statements were "Not statements of fact." We view this as a concerning development given the potential impact of such misinformation.

Legal Proceedings Against Rice Media:

Turning to a related matter, I want to bring attention to an article published by Rice Media on March 18, 2021, titled 

These Singaporeans Lost Money in a Financial Scheme. What Can They Actually Do About It? https://www.ricemedia.co/current-affairs-features-singaporeans-lost-money-financial-scheme-vendshare-raymond-ng/

The article gained significant traction on social media platforms and was shared widely. In response, Raymond Ng chose to pursue a defamation lawsuit against Rice Media. For details about this lawsuit, please refer to Raymond's announcement here: https://vendshare.net/defend200franchiseesagainst5/

The legal proceedings were officially documented under the following case numbers:

Unfortunate Passing of a Key Witness:

Unfortunately, the lawsuit against Rice Media came to a halt due to the untimely passing of a “key” witness, whom I will refer to as Wayne. Wayne, a former Vendshare franchisee, initially supported our cause and intended to be a witness. His transformation from a supporter to a critic was rooted in a difference of opinion regarding the COVID-19 vaccines. His subsequent aggressive stance, primarily expressed through social media, created complexities in our legal proceedings.

Wayne tragically passed away on March 9, 2023, at the young age of 26. While we lack concrete information on the cause of his death, it is essential to acknowledge his strong advocacy for vaccinations and his belief in the government's narrative. I believe Wayne received at least three doses of the COVID-19 vaccine before his untimely passing. 

Surely there are other witnesses who are alive who can bear testimonial?

Now here's the thing – if Rice Media really had the proof on Raymond, why didn't they get it from the people who are still alive?  Afterall, according to their initial article, there were so many people who got scammed by Raymond. Surely, there’s still someone who’s alive and can be their witnesses besides Wayne?  

Why didn't they stand by their claims and continue the lawsuit with the people who are still alive? Their actions to stop the lawsuit due to a dead witness speaks volumes about their conviction and what they wrote. 

Transparency and the Media's Role:

Throughout the legal proceedings, we cooperated extensively with Rice Media, providing over 6,000 pages of documentation, including financial records. It is reasonable to question the basis of Rice Media's initial accusations against Raymond Ng, especially if they relied solely on allegations from dissatisfied franchisees without substantial evidence.

Is there justice in Singapore?

It pains me that we could not follow through the Rice Media lawsuit in court. 

It pains me that, to date, Rice Media’s questionable article is still up.

It pains me that, because of a dead witness and without a shroud of proof of wrongdoing from us, the judge still dismissed the case.

It pains me that Rice Media is still writing articles without the full facts to turn public opinion against me, but I won’t be taking this lying down.

I wish to expose them and their agenda.

Potential Foreign Influence and References to "A New World Order":

It has come to our attention that Rice Media has foreign shareholding in the British Virgin Islands, raising concerns about potential foreign influence on a Singaporean media outlet.

In a posting dated 12 July 2022, Rice Media announced, “RICE has been steaming for a bit, and we are thrilled to introduce you to RICE’s newly appointed Managing Director, Khai Asyraf, and Editor-in-Chief, Ilyas Sholihyn.

“As RICE embarks on its regional expansion, this new leadership aims to push both creative and cultural boundaries through a sharper focus on impactful, quality storytelling. Get ready, readers. A new world order is coming.”

We note that as of today, 10 Sept 2023, Khai Asyraf is still not officially listed as a Director of Rice Media Pte Ltd in the ACRA records.

Given my previous discussions about organizations such as the World Economic Forum (WEF) and foreign influences on local political landscapes, I felt it was essential to highlight these references.

I do not know if the “New World Order” Rice Media pointed to is the same “New World Order” that is warned by Dr Mahathir. My purpose is to highlight the dangerous connotions and associations with New World Order. I hope they can clarify what kind of "New World Order" they are referring to in their announcement.

Dr Mahatir said, "NWO will abolish all states, all nations, all borders... One-World Government, to be by certain people, elites, people who are very rich, intelligent, powerful in many ways...they are the ones who will govern the world. These elites will impose their rules on everyone in this world , those who are unwilling to submit to them, will be punished.”

Further Potential Foreign Influence:

In an article written around the time of their "New World Order" announcement, Edoardo Liotta, a self declared “localised foreigner” penned an article titled “How swinging made me a better husband.” This article, focusing on the benefits of promiscuity, raises questions about the preservation of Asian values of loyalty and family. https://www.ricemedia.co/how-swinging-made-me-a-better-husband/

The State of Alternative Media:

In conclusion, I wish to caution everyone about the state of media, including mainstream and seemingly "alternative" outlets. Transparency regarding their agenda and funding sources is crucial. I want to clarify that I am not financially supported by any external entities. My work is driven by a deep sense of patriotism and a duty to protect the interests of the people of Singapore. Moral of the Story: Do your own research.

And in a sad twist, Wayne was only 26 years old when he passed away. While we don't know the exact cause, he was a staunch believer in the government's narrative and the mainstream media's portrayal of the vaccines as "safe" and "effective." He believed in these so much that I became his enemy. 

So, here's the moral of the story – do your own research! Don't just blindly follow what the authorities dictate.
